Play by the rules
DO NOT EAT IT AND DO NOT KEEP IT TO EAT. It carries tetrodotoxin, a nerve poison that cooking, freezing and drying do not remove, and it can kill. Selling pufferfish is banned in the EU. Do not give it to anyone. It bites hard with a beak of fused teeth, so handle it with care and keep fingers away. Check local rules on whether to release itNational fisheries authority.
